In order to use the Empire website or registering for an account we may require information from you in order to provide the best possible service. All correspondence may also be collected and stored, particularly in regard to sales, support, and accounts including email. Any information collected by Empire is collected via correspondence from you or your company. This may be via email or directly through our website.

Order Acceptance Policy

If you purchase a product or service from us, we may request certain personally identifiable information from you. You may be required to provide contact information (such as name, email, and postal address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date).

We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.

Your receipt of an electronic order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Empire reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. Empire reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item. All orders placed must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment, as established by us. Empire is a seller to end user customers and does not accept orders from dealers, exporters, wholesalers, or other customers who intend to resell their products.


All goods remain the property of Empire until payment is received in full. Orders require 30% deposit. Custom made orders cannot be cancelled. Outstanding balance on goods must be paid in full prior to delivery. Lead times provided are estimates only. There may be slight variation in colour between samples and finished products. The natural timber products we use may ‘move’ over time. Delivery fees are based on the expectation of reasonable access at delivery site. Further charges may be payable on delivery if access is not deemed reasonable. Delivery times are approximate, and will be confirmed close to actual delivery.


All workmanship is guaranteed for two years from the date of purchase. Fabrics are not covered by this warranty. Warranty does not cover damage caused by negligence, willful damage, acts of God, misuse or failure to care properly for goods. Freight charges and service calls made after goods have been signed for in good order may incur additional charges.

Refund Policy

Please choose purchases carefully as we do not refund, return, or exchange if you change your mind or make a wrong selection (as supported by Australian Consumer Law).

All Empire product is quality controlled, however should a product be delivered that has a manufacturing fault, we will replace or repair the product at no cost to you. You are entitled to this policy if you contact us within 48 hours of your product delivery notifying us of the manufacturing fault.

All custom / special ordered items are final sale, and are not liable for return, refund, or exchange. Product sold as ex-display from the showroom floor or purchased at an Empire warehouse sale are sold on a “Final Sale” basis. Returns, refund, exchanges, or warranty for “As- is”, “Display Stock” or “Warehouse Sale” product will not be accepted under any circumstance.


We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process served on our website.

It’s Empire is not liable for any losses or damages caused by this website or any website linked to or from this website. We reserve the right to refuse any order without giving reason. Upon cancellation of an order we will make all reasonable attempts to contact you using the details provided. All received monies will be refunded using the method received.

This site may contain links to other sites on the Internet that are owned and operated by third parties. You acknowledge that Empire is not responsible for the operation of or content located on or through any such site.
